Meet the Board

The Christ Classical Academy School Board is an integral part of the successful functioning of our school. The members carry the responsibility of governing the school so that it will be a safe environment for students to mature spiritually, personally, and academically. We look forward to seeing the fruit of their hard work and dedication to our school.

Rodney Kennerly, Board Chair

Rodney Kennerly is a husband and father who resides in Mint Hill with his wife, Jennifer, and four children. He loves date nights with his wife, enjoys fishing and being outdoors with his kids, hosting dinner parties and leading Bible studies and small groups in his home. Rodney graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has spent the last 20+ years working in healthcare/medical sales. He led a middle school Youth Group at his church for 2 years, has coached youth soccer for 6 years, and spent 20+ years playing drums in a church worship band. His kids have attended CCAC since 2017.

Kerri Miner is a devoted mom of four, grandma of one, and police wife with over 25 years of experience in the field of education and administration. She earned her Doctor of Education degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from South College in 2025. Kerri is passionate about integrating faith and learning, fostering students’ academic and spiritual growth, and equipping teachers with the tools and support they need to thrive in their calling.

Matt and his wife Jenny have three kids, Caroline, Matthew, and Mary Elizabeth. Matt is a partner at Troutman Pepper, whose practice primarily focuses on commercial real estate finance. He regularly represents banks, loan servicers, agency lenders, life companies, institutional lenders, finance companies, investors, and borrowers in commercial real estate transactions. He is a graduate of Montreat College in Montreat, NC, and Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA.

Stephen Vullo, Board Member

Stephen and his wife Jennessa have three young boys and reside in east Charlotte. They attend Eastgate Church where Step [ ... ]

Stephen and his wife Jennessa have three young boys and reside in east Charlotte. They attend Eastgate Church where Stephen serves as a trustee for the church, as well as a small group leader. He served as a missionary in Latin America for several years and was a part of the church plant team from Charleston, SC that started Eastside Church. Stephen has his BS in Mechanical Engineering from UNC Charlotte and currently works in the energy industry.
